Conversations with Strangers is part of the pubic event I Am Petaluma - a series of public events focused around Putnam Plaza in downtown Petaluma. The project is a vehicle for learning how to build community together through ownership and activation of our public spaces.
Two strangers will be invited into a recorded conversation about public spaces generally and Putnam Plaza specifically. The 15 minute conversation will be guided by a series of questions and prompts related to public space.
The final conversations will be made available for the public to listen to, and contribute to an understanding of what local Petalumans feel about public spaces and changes they may like to see in Putnam Plaza.
To participate, please click on one of the conversation times and register. You will be paired with a stranger at that time. Please arrive several minutes early to check-in.
The conversations will be on Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27 in Putnam Plaza in Petaluma.
