Chickens, Lakeville, California

Sometimes the break you need from that overwhelming feeling is just steps from your own front door. You just need to take a short walk around wherever you are and find some solace by just walking and leaving the crazy world behind. For this week’s episode, a gentle reminder from our feathered friends who spend all day walking around in their own universe. Chickens.

And not just any chickens - these chickens know how to live. The coop and run they call home are right along a coastal waterway and they also have lots of other feathered friends to keep them company. They don’t seem to notice the busy highway a few hundred yards on the other side - they just spend their days walking around and noticing what is right in front of them. A state of constant wonder.
